Michael Shaw, MD, MBA – President

While attending Emory University School of Medicine, Michael Shaw decided to combine his experience as a filmmaker with his passion for medicine. After training in internal medicine, Dr. Shaw spent three years at the National Institutes of Health / National Library of Medicine serving as a consultant to medical societies promoting the use of advanced media in professional education. Upon leaving NIH, Dr. Shaw established Shaw Science with the goal of combining the resources of industry and academic medicine to develop innovative and effective healthcare education. During those 35 years we have been privileged to have the opportunity to combine our academic relationships with the needs of industry to develop valuable educational programs with NIH, FDA, professional organizations and PBS.
